- Set up your breading station with bowls of flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs.
- Start by dredging each shrimp in flour, shaking off any excess.
- Dip the floured shrimp into the beaten eggs, letting the excess drip off.
- Finally, coat the shrimp in breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
- In a frying pan, heat oil over medium heat.
- Fry the shrimp in batches, 2-3 minutes per side, until golden brown and crispy.
- Place the fried shrimp on paper towels to absorb any excess oil.
- Serve the firecracker shrimp hot and enjoy.
Notes
For extra crunch, you can double coat the shrimp in breadcrumbs. Make sure to let the shrimp rest for a minute after frying to maintain crispiness.
