Description

A luxurious dish combining tender filet mignon with a rich shrimp and lobster cream sauce, perfect for special occasions.


Ingredients

  • 2 filet mignon steaks
  • 1 cup shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup lobster meat, cooked and chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Season the filet mignon steaks with salt and pepper.
  2. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat and sear the steaks for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare.
  3. Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest.
  4. Add minced garlic to the same skillet and sauté for 1 minute.
  5. Introduce the shrimp and lobster meat, cooking until shrimp is pink.
  6. Pour in the heavy cream and simmer until the sauce thickens.
  7. Stir in chopped parsley and season with salt and pepper.
  8. Serve the filet mignon topped with the shrimp and lobster cream sauce.

Notes

Use clarified butter for a higher smoke point and consider adding a splash of lemon juice for brightness. Pair with garlic mashed potatoes or roasted asparagus.
