Ingredients
- 2 filet mignon steaks
- 1 cup shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup lobster meat, cooked and chopped
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Season the filet mignon steaks with salt and pepper.
- Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat and sear the steaks for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare.
- Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest.
- Add minced garlic to the same skillet and sauté for 1 minute.
- Introduce the shrimp and lobster meat, cooking until shrimp is pink.
- Pour in the heavy cream and simmer until the sauce thickens.
- Stir in chopped parsley and season with salt and pepper.
- Serve the filet mignon topped with the shrimp and lobster cream sauce.
Notes
Use clarified butter for a higher smoke point and consider adding a splash of lemon juice for brightness. Pair with garlic mashed potatoes or roasted asparagus.
