A simple yet flavorful marinade for salmon that enhances the natural richness of the fish.
Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, honey, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
- Place salmon fillets in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish.
- Pour the marinade over the salmon and seal the bag or cover the dish.
- Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, up to 2 hours.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Remove the salmon from the marinade and discard the marinade.
- Grill the salmon for about 5-6 minutes per side or until it flakes easily with a fork.
Notes
For added flavor, consider adding fresh herbs like dill or parsley to the marinade. Serve with lemon wedges for extra zest.
