Description

A simple yet flavorful marinade for salmon that enhances the natural richness of the fish.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, honey, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  2. Place salmon fillets in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish.
  3. Pour the marinade over the salmon and seal the bag or cover the dish.
  4. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, up to 2 hours.
  5. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  6. Remove the salmon from the marinade and discard the marinade.
  7. Grill the salmon for about 5-6 minutes per side or until it flakes easily with a fork.

Notes

For added flavor, consider adding fresh herbs like dill or parsley to the marinade. Serve with lemon wedges for extra zest.
