Description

Learn how to make delicious Easy Garlic Butter Air Fryer Salmon with this simple recipe! Perfectly crispy on the outside, tender on the inside.

Ingredients

  • – 500g (1lb) salmon fillets
  • – 1/2 cup (120ml) melted butter
  • – 3 garlic cloves crushed
  • – 1 tsp (5 ml) oregano
  • – pinch of chilli flakes
  • – 2 tsp (10 ml) lemon juice
  • – 2 tsp (10 ml) parsley
  • – salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, crushed garlic, oregano, chili flakes, fresh parsley, and lemon juice. Add salt and pepper for seasoning.
  2. Sprinkle salt and pepper on both sides of the salmon fillets.
  3. Position the salmon with the flesh side facing down on a sheet of parchment paper, then apply half of the garlic butter mixture using a brush.
  4. Set the salmon in the air fryer and cook at 200ºC/390ºF for 5 minutes or until the skin turns crispy.
  5. Carefully flip the salmon over, discard the parchment paper, and apply the rest of the garlic butter mixture.
  6. Return the salmon to the air fryer and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes, or until it reaches your desired level of doneness.
  7. Take it out and serve with a slice of lemon.

Notes

  • Season both sides of the salmon fillets with salt and pepper to ensure even flavor distribution.
  • Use a brush to evenly coat the salmon with the garlic butter mixture for a flavorful bite every time.
  • Check the salmon’s doneness by inserting a fork or knife into the thickest part – it should easily flake when cooked.
