Description

A quick and flavorful dish that combines perfectly cooked shrimp with spaghetti and a creamy, spicy sauce, making it ideal for weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces of spaghetti
  • 1 ½ pounds of medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 ½ tablespoons of olive oil
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 3 teaspoons of paprika
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1 ½ teaspoons of dried parsley
  • ⅔ cup of light mayonnaise
  • ½ cup of Thai sweet chili sauce
  • ½ tablespoon of honey
  • 1 tablespoon of sriracha sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of lime juice
  • to ¼ teaspoon of red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix all the sauce ingredients together and set aside, adjusting the sriracha to your liking.
  2. Cook the spaghetti according to package directions. Once cooked, drain and return it to the pot.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine shrimp with olive oil, paprika, minced garlic, and black pepper.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the shrimp until pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Combine the cooked shrimp with spaghetti in the pot and add ⅔ of the prepared sauce, tossing to coat.
  6. Serve drizzled with remaining sauce and topped with parsley.

Notes

For extra spice, adjust the sriracha and red pepper flakes to your taste. Garnish with green onions or extra lime for freshness.
