Description

A quick and flavorful dish that combines fresh shrimp with zesty lemon and savory garlic, perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 2 lemons (sliced)
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted or thinly sliced)
  • 2 cloves garlic (diced)
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon fresh cracked pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F or your air fryer to 375°F.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, diced garlic, Italian seasoning, fresh cracked pepper, and sea salt if desired.
  3. Lay the lemon slices in a baking dish (for baking) or air fryer basket (for air frying).
  4. Arrange the shrimp on top of the lemon slices and drizzle the butter mixture generously over them.
  5. For baking, bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the shrimp turns pink and opaque. For air frying, air fry for 6-8 minutes or until the shrimp is cooked through.

Notes

Don’t overcook the shrimp to avoid toughness. Add lemon zest for extra flavor. Broil for a caramelized finish if desired.
