A quick and flavorful dish that combines fresh shrimp with zesty lemon and savory garlic, perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients
- 1 pound large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- 2 lemons (sliced)
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted or thinly sliced)
- 2 cloves garlic (diced)
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon fresh cracked pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F or your air fryer to 375°F.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, diced garlic, Italian seasoning, fresh cracked pepper, and sea salt if desired.
- Lay the lemon slices in a baking dish (for baking) or air fryer basket (for air frying).
- Arrange the shrimp on top of the lemon slices and drizzle the butter mixture generously over them.
- For baking, bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the shrimp turns pink and opaque. For air frying, air fry for 6-8 minutes or until the shrimp is cooked through.
Notes
Don’t overcook the shrimp to avoid toughness. Add lemon zest for extra flavor. Broil for a caramelized finish if desired.
