- – 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) ground black pepper
- – 1/3 cup (80 ml) to 1/2 cup (120 ml) grated cheese (halal-friendly)
Instructions
- Rinse the zucchini, dry them thoroughly, and cut into discs about ½-inch thick. Be careful not to slice them too thin to avoid a mushy texture, or too thick to ensure they cook through before the cheese browns.
- Combine the zucchini slices with olive oil, salt, red pepper flakes, and black pepper in a spacious bowl, stirring until everything is evenly coated.
- Set the air fryer to 400°F and allow it to preheat for 11 minutes. Once ready, arrange the zucchini slices in one layer and generously sprinkle the grated cheese on top.
- Cook until the tops achieve a golden brown color, which should take between 9 and 11 minutes. Serve while hot!
