  • – 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) ground black pepper
  • – 1/3 cup (80 ml) to 1/2 cup (120 ml) grated cheese (halal-friendly)


Instructions

  1. Rinse the zucchini, dry them thoroughly, and cut into discs about ½-inch thick. Be careful not to slice them too thin to avoid a mushy texture, or too thick to ensure they cook through before the cheese browns.
  2. Combine the zucchini slices with olive oil, salt, red pepper flakes, and black pepper in a spacious bowl, stirring until everything is evenly coated.
  3. Set the air fryer to 400°F and allow it to preheat for 11 minutes. Once ready, arrange the zucchini slices in one layer and generously sprinkle the grated cheese on top.
  4. Cook until the tops achieve a golden brown color, which should take between 9 and 11 minutes. Serve while hot!
