  • – 1 lb (454 g) beef sausage
  • – ¼ cup (60 ml) onion, minced
  • – 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • – 2 tablespoons (30 ml) parsley, chopped
  • – 2 eggs
  • – 1½ cups (180 g) Parmesan cheese, grated
  • – salt and pepper
  • – ½ teaspoon (2.5 ml) crushed red pepper flakes
  • – ½ teaspoon (2.5 ml) Italian seasoning
  • – salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Combine the ground beef, beef sausage, minced onion, minced garlic, chopped parsley, eggs, and grated Parmesan cheese in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Season the meat mixture with a dash of salt and pepper.
  3. Use your hands to thoroughly blend all the ingredients together.
  4. Shape the mixture into meatballs, each about 1 or 2 inches in diameter, which should yield approximately 25 meatballs.
  5. Lightly coat the air fryer basket with a mist of olive oil spray.
  6. Place the meatballs into the air fryer basket, ensuring they are spaced apart and not overcrowded; cook in batches if necessary.
  7. Set the air fryer to 350 degrees and cook for 13 minutes, rotating the meatballs briefly around the 8-minute mark.
  8. Ensure the internal temperature of the meatballs reaches 165 degrees by checking the center of the thickest part with a thermometer.
