Description

Discover how to make a delicious and easy air fryer corn side dish that will elevate any meal. Perfectly crispy and seasoned, this recipe is a must-try!

Ingredients

  • 3 corn (450g)
  • 2 tablespoon (30 ml) vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) paprika
  • 2 teaspoon (10 ml) garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) liquid smoke (optional)
  • 1 pinch salt

Instructions

  1. Remove the outer layers and fibers from the corn. Briefly boil each cob in a large pot of water for up to three minutes, adjusting for their size, to make them tender. Rinse under cold water for 45 seconds to cool them down.
  2. Place the corn on a cutting board and trim the ends. Stand the corn upright and carefully slice it lengthwise with a sharp knife. Cut the halves into quarters or smaller strips, depending on your preference.
  3. In a bowl, mix vegetable oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and liquid smoke to create a marinade. Coat the corn pieces with the seasoned oil, either using a brush or with your hands.
  4. Arrange the corn in a single layer inside the air fryer basket. Cook at a high temperature for 10-12 minutes until they are tender and crispy. Serve them hot with lemon or lime wedges and a sauce of your choice.

Notes

  • Add a sprinkle of grated Parmesan cheese for extra flavor.
  • Experiment with seasonings like cumin or chili powder for a unique twist.
  • Flip the corn halfway through cooking to ensure even crispiness.
