Description

A quick and delicious recipe for honey garlic butter baked salmon that transforms an ordinary dinner into a special occasion.

Ingredients

  • 4 (6 ounce) salmon fillets, skin on or off
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel and lay them skin-side down on the baking sheet.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, lemon juice, black pepper, and salt. Whisk until well mixed.
  4. Spoon the honey garlic butter mixture evenly over each salmon fillet.
  5. Bake the salmon for 12 to 15 minutes, depending on thickness, until fully cooked and flaky.
  6. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh herbs, alongside rice or steamed vegetables.

Notes

For deeper flavor, marinate the salmon in the honey garlic mixture for 15-30 minutes before cooking. Adjust honey based on sweetness preference, and try adding a pinch of red pepper flakes for some heat.
