Description

A comforting and flavorful dish featuring sautéed cabbage, succulent shrimp, and hearty smoked sausage, perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 1 small head of cabbage, chopped
  • 1/2 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 lb smoked sausage, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the sliced sausage until browned. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add olive oil and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant. Add the shrimp and cook until pink, then remove and set aside.
  3. Add the chopped cabbage to the skillet, sprinkle with smoked paprika, and season with salt and pepper. Sauté until tender but still crisp.
  4. Combine the shrimp and sausage back into the skillet with the cabbage and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  5. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving hot.
