Description

A delightful and crispy flounder dish infused with garlic and lemon, perfect for a comforting weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

  • Flounder fillets
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Season the flounder fillets with salt and pepper.
  2. Prepare a shallow dish with flour and another with beaten eggs.
  3. Dip each fillet into the flour, shaking off excess, followed by the egg wash.
  4. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat, ensuring it doesn’t brown.
  5. Add the flounder fillets and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  6. Remove the fish from the skillet and add minced garlic to the remaining butter, cooking until fragrant.
  7. Squeeze in lemon juice and add chopped parsley.
  8. Pour the garlic sauce over flounder and serve immediately.

Notes

Let the flounder sit briefly after frying to help maintain its crunch.
