Ingredients
- 1 lb crab meat (fresh or canned)
- 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 green onions (finely chopped)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup seasoned breadcrumbs
- 1 large egg (beaten)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine crab meat, softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, green onions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into bite-sized balls or patties.
- Dip each patty into the beaten egg, then coat with seasoned breadcrumbs.
- Place the breaded crab patties on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving warm.
Notes
Chill shaped patties for 15-30 minutes before baking to firm up. Adjust the size of patties to change cooking time and serving style.
