Description

A light and flavorful crustless tuna and mushroom quiche that’s quick to prepare, healthy, and perfect for weeknight dinners.


Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 200 ml crème fraîche
  • 200 g canned tuna, drained and flaked
  • 150 g mushrooms, sliced
  • 100 g grated cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Herbs de Provence (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs with the crème fraîche. Season with salt, pepper, and herbs de Provence if using.
  3. Fold in the flaked tuna, sliced mushrooms, and grated cheese.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
  5. Bake for about 30 to 35 minutes, until the top is golden and the quiche is set.
  6. Allow it to rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

For a creamier texture, consider substituting crème fraîche with ricotta or a mixture of cream and yogurt. Fresh ingredients yield the best results.
