A light and flavorful crustless tuna and mushroom quiche that’s quick to prepare, healthy, and perfect for weeknight dinners.
Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 200 ml crème fraîche
- 200 g canned tuna, drained and flaked
- 150 g mushrooms, sliced
- 100 g grated cheese
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Herbs de Provence (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs with the crème fraîche. Season with salt, pepper, and herbs de Provence if using.
- Fold in the flaked tuna, sliced mushrooms, and grated cheese.
- Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
- Bake for about 30 to 35 minutes, until the top is golden and the quiche is set.
- Allow it to rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
For a creamier texture, consider substituting crème fraîche with ricotta or a mixture of cream and yogurt. Fresh ingredients yield the best results.
