Description

A deliciously crispy and flavorful dish featuring fish fillets coated in a crunchy parmesan and breadcrumb crust.

Ingredients

  • 2 fish fillets (cod or tilapia)
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Lemon wedges for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a shallow dish, mix together the parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Coat each fish fillet with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Once hot, add the coated fish and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side.

Notes

Ensure oil is hot before adding fish to achieve a crispy crust. Try marinating fish in lemon juice before coating for enhanced flavor.
