Ingredients
- 800 g salmon filets, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tbsp olive oil (for marinating)
- 1 tbsp smoked paprika
- 1 tbsp fish seasoning
- 1 tbsp soy sauce (for marinating)
- 2 tbsp olive oil (for cooking)
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/2 cup honey
- 3 tbsp garlic, minced
- 3 tbsp soy sauce (for sauce)
- 2 tbsp lemon juice or vinegar
- 2 tbsp hot sauce
- Sesame seeds (for garnish)
- Chopped chives (for garnish)
Instructions
- Marinate the salmon with olive oil, smoked paprika, soy sauce, and fish seasoning.
- Heat a frying pan with olive oil and butter, then add the marinated salmon cubes in a single layer. Cook for 4-5 minutes, flipping often until crispy and golden. Transfer to a plate and repeat with the remaining salmon.
- In the same skillet, strain the oil and add minced garlic; sauté for one minute.
- Stir in honey, soy sauce, lemon juice or vinegar, and hot sauce. Bring to a simmer until slightly thickened.
- Serve the crispy salmon drizzled with the sauce and garnish with sesame seeds and chopped chives.
Notes
For optimal flavor, marinate the salmon for at least 15-30 minutes. Adjust heat to ensure crispy exterior.
