Description
A delightful culinary experience featuring crispy salmon paired with spiced butter and creamy garlic yogurt, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
- 200g thick Greek yogurt
- 1 garlic clove, finely grated
- 2 salmon fillets, skin on
- Neutral oil (such as avocado, vegetable, or sunflower)
- 2 tbsp salted butter
- 2 tsp pul biber (Aleppo pepper)
- Small handful fresh dill, to garnish
Instructions
- Combine Greek yogurt, finely grated garlic, and a pinch of salt in a small bowl. Refrigerate to allow flavors to meld.
- Pat the salmon fillets dry, then season with salt and pepper.
- Heat a stainless steel pan over medium heat. Add neutral oil, and when shimmering, place salmon skin-side down, pressing for 15 seconds.
- Cook for 7-10 minutes, then flip and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until cooked through.
- Transfer salmon to a plate to drain excess oil.
- Add salted butter in the same pan and melt, stirring in pul biber, cooking for 30 seconds before removing from heat.
- Serve by spooning yogurt onto plates, add salmon on top, drizzle with spiced butter, and garnish with fresh dill.
Notes
Allow salmon to sit at room temperature for 15 minutes before cooking to ensure even cooking.
