- – 3/4 cup (90 g) panko breadcrumbs
- – 2 teaspoons (10 ml) Italian seasoning
- – 1 teaspoon (5 ml) garlic powder
- – 1 teaspoon (5 ml) onion powder
- – 1/4 cup (60 ml) honey
- – 2 tablespoons (30 ml) hot sauce
- – 1 tablespoon (15 ml) low sodium soy sauce
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, toss the salmon cubes with sea salt, ground pepper, and olive oil, ensuring each piece is evenly coated.
- On a flat plate, mix together the panko breadcrumbs, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
- Coat each salmon piece with the breadcrumb mixture, then transfer them to a baking tray.
- Set the air fryer to 375°F to preheat.
- Arrange the coated salmon pieces in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they do not overlap. Cook for 8 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through the cooking time.
- While the salmon cooks, stir together the honey, hot sauce, and soy sauce in a small bowl.
- After the salmon is fully cooked, drizzle the sauce over the pieces and give them a quick shake to coat.
