  • – 1 teaspoon (5 ml) sea salt
  • – 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) fine ground pepper
  • – 2 tablespoons (30 ml) olive oil
  • – 3/4 cup (90 g) panko breadcrumbs
  • – 2 teaspoons (10 ml) Italian seasoning
  • – 1 teaspoon (5 ml) garlic powder
  • – 1 teaspoon (5 ml) onion powder
  • – 1/4 cup (60 ml) honey
  • – 2 tablespoons (30 ml) hot sauce
  • – 1 tablespoon (15 ml) low sodium soy sauce

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, toss the salmon cubes with sea salt, ground pepper, and olive oil, ensuring each piece is evenly coated.
  2. On a flat plate, mix together the panko breadcrumbs, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
  3. Coat each salmon piece with the breadcrumb mixture, then transfer them to a baking tray.
  4. Set the air fryer to 375°F to preheat.
  5. Arrange the coated salmon pieces in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they do not overlap. Cook for 8 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through the cooking time.
