A simple yet elegant baked salmon dish with a crispy Parmesan and panko topping, perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix Parmesan cheese, panko breadcrumbs, olive oil, minced garlic, oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Place salmon fillets skin-side down on the baking sheet and press the breadcrumb mixture on top of each fillet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
- Serve with lemon wedges.
Notes
For added flavor, consider marinating the salmon beforehand. Adjust baking time based on thickness of fillets.
