Description

A simple yet elegant baked salmon dish with a crispy Parmesan and panko topping, perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges for serving


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. In a bowl, mix Parmesan cheese, panko breadcrumbs, olive oil, minced garlic, oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Place salmon fillets skin-side down on the baking sheet and press the breadcrumb mixture on top of each fillet.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

For added flavor, consider marinating the salmon beforehand. Adjust baking time based on thickness of fillets.
