Ingredients

  • – 1 lb (454 g) Chicken Wings, I prefer chicken wings cut into parts (flat and drum), but whole wings work too
  • – 2 tsp (10 ml) Old Bay Seasoning
  • – 2 tsp (10 ml) Garlic Powder
  • – 1 tsp (5 ml) Dried Parsley
  • – 1 tbsp (15 ml) Baking Powder
  • – 2 tbsp (30 ml) Olive Oil, or vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Take the chicken out of the fridge and blot it with paper towels to eliminate excess moisture, which is key for a crunchy skin.
  2. Combine Old Bay, garlic powder, dried parsley, and baking powder in a small bowl.
  3. Dust the chicken with the spice mix, ensuring even coverage for optimal crispiness.
  4. Arrange the chicken wings in a single layer within the air fryer basket.
  5. Pour olive oil over the wings.
  6. Set the air fryer to Air Crisp mode at 400°F and cook for 12-14 minutes on each side.

Notes

  • Blot chicken wings with paper towels before seasoning to remove excess moisture and achieve a crispy skin.
  • Ensure spice mix is evenly coated on wings for consistent flavor and crispiness.
  • Use olive oil for a rich flavor in the wings, or substitute with vegetable oil if preferred.
