Ingredients

  • – 2 large chicken breasts, boneless and skinless, sliced into thin cutlets (500g)
  • – 1 tablespoon (15 ml) vegetable oil
  • – 1/2 cup (25g) dried bread crumbs
  • – 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) paprika
  • – 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) dried chili powder
  • – 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) ground black pepper
  • – 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) garlic powder
  • – 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) onion powder
  • – 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) cayenne pepper
  • – 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) salt


Instructions

  1. Place the sliced chicken cutlets in a bowl and pour the oil over them, ensuring they’re thoroughly covered.
  2. In a shallow dish, combine the dried bread crumbs with all the spices, mixing until fully integrated.
  3. Dredge each piece of chicken in the bread crumb mixture, then place them in the basket of your air fryer.
  4. Set the air fryer to 390°F (200°C) and cook for 10-12 minutes. After 7 minutes, carefully turn the chicken over and continue air frying for an additional 3 minutes, adjusting for the thickness of the chicken.
  5. Pour oil over the boneless, skinless chicken breasts, and season with your preferred spices.
  6. Arrange the seasoned chicken breasts in the air fryer basket with the breast side facing down, and cook for 12-15 minutes, turning them over halfway through with kitchen tongs.
  7. Once the cooking cycle is complete, promptly remove the chicken from the air fryer to prevent it from drying out. Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
