Description

Enjoy a guilt-free crispy baked fish with a golden crust and tender, flaky interior, perfect for family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 4 pieces of white fish fillets (cod or tilapia)
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Brush the fish fillets with melted butter and drizzle with olive oil.
  4. Press the breadcrumb mixture onto the top of each fillet to create an even crust.
  5. Place the fish on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and the crust is golden brown.
  7. Serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

For added flavor, consider marinating the fish in a mix of lemon juice, salt, and pepper for 15-30 minutes prior to cooking. Ensure fish fillets are dry for the best crust.
