Ingredients
- 1 medium potato (200g)
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil (15 ml)
- 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) salt
- 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) ground paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) onion powder
- 1/8 teaspoon (1 ml) black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) ground cumin
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) fresh parsley, thinly sliced
Instructions
- Begin by thoroughly cleaning your potato with cold water to eliminate any dirt or debris.
- Proceed to cut it into cubes of about half an inch, ensuring they are as uniform as possible.
- Transfer the potato cubes into a sizable bowl. Optionally, you may add vegetable oil to enhance the golden hue, but it’s not essential. Add the salt, garlic powder, ground paprika, onion powder, black pepper, and ground cumin, then mix everything until well combined.
- Arrange the potato cubes in a single layer in the air fryer basket and cook at 400°F for 8 minutes. Shake the basket, then continue cooking for an additional 5 to 7 minutes until they become crispy and start browning on the outside. Use a fork to test if they are cooked through.
- Move the cooked cubes to a bowl and mix with the freshly sliced parsley. Serve and enjoy!
Notes
- Try using olive oil instead of vegetable oil for a healthier and unique flavor.
- Customize the seasoning with different herbs and spices to suit your taste preferences.
- Avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket to ensure each sweet potato cube cooks evenly and crisps up perfectly.
