Instructions

- Immerse the pumpkin slices in cold water for about an hour.
- Thoroughly drain and pat the slices dry using paper towels or a clean kitchen towel.
- Return the pumpkin slices to a large bowl and coat them once more with oil and spices.
- Lay the pumpkin slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket and cook them in batches at 400°F for about 10 minutes each time, until they are tender on the inside and crispy on the outside.
Notes
- Thoroughly pat dry pumpkin slices after soaking to ensure crispiness in the air fryer.
- Enhance flavor with grated Parmesan cheese or a squeeze of lemon juice before serving.
- Add a pinch of cayenne pepper or chili powder for a spicier kick in the spice mixture.
