Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour (240 ml)
  • 1 tablespoon paprika (15 ml)
  • 1 tablespoon parsley flakes (15 ml)
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt (5 ml)
  • 5 teaspoon ground black pepper (2.5 ml)
  • 1 large egg
  • 5 pounds chicken tenderloins (680 g)

Instructions

  1. Set your air fryer to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) following the manufacturer’s guidelines.
  2. In the meantime, mix together the flour, paprika, parsley, seasoned salt, and pepper in a large bowl. In another bowl, whisk the egg.
  3. Coat each chicken tender with the seasoned flour mixture. Then, dip it in the beaten egg and roll it again in the seasoned flour.
  4. Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and arrange the chicken tenders inside, ensuring they are not overcrowded. Lightly spray the tops of the tenders with cooking spray.
  5. Place them in the preheated air fryer for 8 minutes. Turn the chicken over and lightly spray the tops once more. Continue air frying until a thermometer inserted in the center of the chicken reaches 165 degrees F (74 degrees C), approximately 7 to 8 more minutes. Repeat the process with any remaining tenders.

  • For a healthier twist, consider using whole wheat flour instead of all-purpose flour to boost fiber content.
  • Add a hint of spice by incorporating a pinch of cayenne pepper or chili powder into the seasoned flour mixture.
