Ingredients
- – 2 large chicken breasts, boneless and skinless, sliced into thin cutlets (500g)
- – 1 tablespoon (15 ml) vegetable oil
- – 1/2 cup (25g) dried bread crumbs
- – 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) paprika
- – 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) dried chili powder
- – 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) ground black pepper
- – 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) garlic powder
- – 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) onion powder
- – 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) cayenne pepper
- – 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) salt
Instructions
- Place the chicken pieces in a bowl and pour the oil over them, ensuring they are fully covered.
- In a separate shallow dish, combine the bread crumbs with the paprika, chili powder, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, and salt until the mixture is uniform.
- Press each piece of chicken into the bread crumb mixture, making sure they are evenly coated, and then place them in the air fryer basket.
- Set the air fryer to 390°F (200°C) and cook the chicken for 10-12 minutes. After 7 minutes, open the air fryer and turn the chicken over to cook the other side, continuing for an additional 3 minutes or until done, depending on the thickness of the chicken.
- Pour oil over the chicken breasts, then sprinkle with your preferred spices.
- Arrange the seasoned chicken in the air fryer basket with the smooth side facing down, and cook for 12-15 minutes, turning them over with tongs halfway through the cooking process.
- Once the time is up, take the chicken out of the air fryer immediately to prevent it from drying out. Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
