Ingredients

  • – 2 large chicken breasts, boneless and skinless, sliced into thin cutlets (500g)
  • – 1 tablespoon (15 ml) vegetable oil
  • – 1/2 cup (25g) dried bread crumbs
  • – 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) paprika
  • – 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) dried chili powder
  • – 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) ground black pepper
  • – 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) garlic powder
  • – 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) onion powder
  • – 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) cayenne pepper
  • – 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) salt


Instructions

  1. Place the chicken pieces in a bowl and pour the oil over them, ensuring they are fully covered.
  2. In a separate shallow dish, combine the bread crumbs with the paprika, chili powder, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, and salt until the mixture is uniform.
  3. Press each piece of chicken into the bread crumb mixture, making sure they are evenly coated, and then place them in the air fryer basket.
  4. Set the air fryer to 390°F (200°C) and cook the chicken for 10-12 minutes. After 7 minutes, open the air fryer and turn the chicken over to cook the other side, continuing for an additional 3 minutes or until done, depending on the thickness of the chicken.
  5. Pour oil over the chicken breasts, then sprinkle with your preferred spices.
  6. Arrange the seasoned chicken in the air fryer basket with the smooth side facing down, and cook for 12-15 minutes, turning them over with tongs halfway through the cooking process.
  7. Once the time is up, take the chicken out of the air fryer immediately to prevent it from drying out. Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
