Creamy tuna pasta is a quick and comforting dish made with pasta, tuna, and a rich cream sauce, perfect for busy weeknight dinners.
Ingredients
- 8 oz pasta of choice (penne, fettuccine, etc.)
- 1 can tuna, drained
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for cooking
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- Add the drained tuna and frozen peas, stirring to combine.
- Mix in the cooked pasta and Parmesan cheese, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Heat through, allowing the cheese to melt and combine.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
For a lighter version, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream. Feel free to customize with additional vegetables or proteins.
