Description

A flavorful and quick dish featuring salmon in a creamy lemon garlic sauce, perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon capers
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Season salmon fillets with salt and pepper, placing them in the skillet. Cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until cooked through and golden brown. Remove the salmon from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and lemon juice, scraping the bottom of the pan to deglaze.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and capers, letting the sauce simmer for a few minutes until it thickens slightly.
  6. Return the salmon to the skillet and spoon the sauce over the top.
  7. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to heat through.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving. Enjoy with your favorite side!

Notes

Choose skin-on salmon fillets for added flavor. Adjust lemon juice and capers to suit your taste.
