A flavorful and quick dish featuring salmon in a creamy lemon garlic sauce, perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions.
Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon capers
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Season salmon fillets with salt and pepper, placing them in the skillet. Cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until cooked through and golden brown. Remove the salmon from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth and lemon juice, scraping the bottom of the pan to deglaze.
- Stir in heavy cream and capers, letting the sauce simmer for a few minutes until it thickens slightly.
- Return the salmon to the skillet and spoon the sauce over the top.
- Cook for an additional 2 minutes to heat through.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving. Enjoy with your favorite side!
