Description

A quick and flavorful tilapia recipe with lemon and garlic that transforms a simple meal into something spectacular.

Ingredients

  • 4 tilapia fillets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup kale, chopped
  • 1 lemon (juice and zest)
  • 1 teaspoon dried herbs (parsley, thyme, or dill)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season the tilapia fillets with salt, pepper, and dried herbs.
  3. Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Place the tilapia fillets in the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
  5. Add kale to the skillet and cook until wilted, about 2 minutes.
  6. Squeeze lemon juice and add lemon zest to the skillet.
  7. If using, pour in the heavy cream and mix well.
  8. Serve hot with additional lemon wedges if desired.

Notes

For a lighter version, omit the heavy cream. Pair with quinoa or steamed rice.
