A delicious, nutrient-rich salmon dish served in a creamy garlic sauce with fresh spinach.
Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cups fresh spinach
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper and sear them for 4-5 minutes on each side until cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add fresh spinach and cook until wilted.
- Lower the heat and pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine.
- Add Parmesan cheese and lemon juice to the sauce, mixing until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.
- Return the salmon to the skillet and spoon sauce over the top.
- Cook for another 2-3 minutes to warm through. Serve immediately.
Notes
For added flavor, consider incorporating crushed red pepper flakes. Adjust garlic amount based on personal preference.
