A comforting dish combining tender salmon and creamy sauce with al dente pasta, perfect for a busy weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
- 200g Pasta (spaghetti or fettuccine)
- 200g Salmon Fillet
- 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- 3 Cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 Cup Heavy Cream
- 1/2 Cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
- Salt and Pepper to Taste
- Chopped Parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the Pasta: Boil water in a large pot, add salt, then the pasta. Cook until al dente and drain.
- Cook the Salmon: In a skillet, heat olive oil, add the salmon fillet, season with salt and pepper. Cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- Sauté the Garlic: In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Prepare the Cream Sauce: Pour in the heavy cream gradually, stirring continuously, and let simmer for a couple of minutes.
- Incorporate the Cheese: Add grated Parmesan cheese, stir until melted, season with salt and pepper.
- Combine Everything: Flake the salmon into pieces, add it to the sauce, then fold in the cooked pasta.
- Serve: Transfer to plates and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
For added freshness, consider adding sautéed spinach or cherry tomatoes. Lemon zest can brighten the flavors.
