Description

A comforting dish combining tender salmon and creamy sauce with al dente pasta, perfect for a busy weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

  • 200g Pasta (spaghetti or fettuccine)
  • 200g Salmon Fillet
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 3 Cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 Cup Heavy Cream
  • 1/2 Cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • Salt and Pepper to Taste
  • Chopped Parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Boil water in a large pot, add salt, then the pasta. Cook until al dente and drain.
  2. Cook the Salmon: In a skillet, heat olive oil, add the salmon fillet, season with salt and pepper. Cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  3. Sauté the Garlic: In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  4. Prepare the Cream Sauce: Pour in the heavy cream gradually, stirring continuously, and let simmer for a couple of minutes.
  5. Incorporate the Cheese: Add grated Parmesan cheese, stir until melted, season with salt and pepper.
  6. Combine Everything: Flake the salmon into pieces, add it to the sauce, then fold in the cooked pasta.
  7. Serve: Transfer to plates and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

For added freshness, consider adding sautéed spinach or cherry tomatoes. Lemon zest can brighten the flavors.
