Delicious salmon fillets stuffed with a creamy crab mixture, baked to flaky perfection.
Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets
- 8 ounces cooked crab meat
- 1/4 cup softened cream cheese
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 clove minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine crab meat, cream cheese, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Take each salmon fillet and make a cut down the middle to create a pocket. Stuff each pocket with the crab mixture.
- Place the stuffed salmon on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Serve alongside vibrant lemon wedges.
Notes
Chilling the stuffed fillets for 15-30 minutes before baking helps the filling set. For added flavor, consider adding hot sauce or red pepper flakes to the mixture.
