A delightful and elegant dish featuring salmon fillets stuffed with a flavorful mix of crab, shrimp, cream cheese, and fresh herbs.
Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets
- 1 cup crab meat
- 1 cup chopped shrimp
- 4 oz cream cheese, room temperature
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine crab meat, chopped shrimp, cream cheese, breadcrumbs, parsley, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until cohesive.
- Carefully create pockets in each salmon fillet without cutting all the way through.
- Generously stuff each salmon pocket with the crab-shrimp mixture.
- Place stuffed salmon fillets in a baking dish with space between each.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until the salmon reaches 145°F (63°C).
- Allow to rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Use fresh seafood for the best flavor. Experiment with different herbs and consider using panko breadcrumbs for a crunchy topping.
