Delicious wraps filled with a creamy mixture of crab, shrimp, and cheese, perfect for appetizers or snacks.
Ingredients
- 1/2 lb cooked shrimp, finely chopped
- 1/2 lb cooked crab meat, shredded
- 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup queso dip (mild or spicy)
- 1 tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
- 8 small flour tortillas
- 2 tbsp butter or oil (for frying)
Instructions
- Combine the finely chopped shrimp, shredded crab meat, Monterey Jack cheese, softened cream cheese, queso dip, chopped cilantro, garlic powder, and smoked paprika in a mixing bowl.
- Take 2–3 tablespoons of filling and place it in each flour tortilla.
- Roll the tortilla tightly, ensuring the filling is securely tucked inside.
- Use a toothpick to hold the tortilla in place during cooking.
- Heat butter or oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the wrapped tortillas to the skillet and fry until golden and crunchy on each side.
- Remove the toothpicks and plate the wraps.
- Drizzle warm queso over the top and sprinkle with fresh cilantro.
- Serve immediately while the cheese is gooey and irresistible.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider adding cayenne pepper or jalapeños. Adjust the queso dip to your spice preference.
