Description

Delicious wraps filled with a creamy mixture of crab, shrimp, and cheese, perfect for appetizers or snacks.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb cooked shrimp, finely chopped
  • 1/2 lb cooked crab meat, shredded
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup queso dip (mild or spicy)
  • 1 tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
  • 8 small flour tortillas
  • 2 tbsp butter or oil (for frying)

Instructions

  1. Combine the finely chopped shrimp, shredded crab meat, Monterey Jack cheese, softened cream cheese, queso dip, chopped cilantro, garlic powder, and smoked paprika in a mixing bowl.
  2. Take 2–3 tablespoons of filling and place it in each flour tortilla.
  3. Roll the tortilla tightly, ensuring the filling is securely tucked inside.
  4. Use a toothpick to hold the tortilla in place during cooking.
  5. Heat butter or oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  6. Add the wrapped tortillas to the skillet and fry until golden and crunchy on each side.
  7. Remove the toothpicks and plate the wraps.
  8. Drizzle warm queso over the top and sprinkle with fresh cilantro.
  9. Serve immediately while the cheese is gooey and irresistible.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding cayenne pepper or jalapeños. Adjust the queso dip to your spice preference.
