Description

A refreshing crab salad combining delicate crab sticks with crunchy vegetables and a creamy Japanese mayonnaise dressing, perfect for summer picnics or any casual meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb crab stick, shredded
  • ½ large English cucumber, julienned
  • 1 large carrot, julienned
  • ½ cup Japanese mayonnaise
  • 1 ½ tablespoons lemon juice
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • 2 teaspoons sriracha (optional)


Instructions

  1. Whisk together the Japanese mayonnaise and lemon juice in a small bowl until smooth.
  2. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper to taste. Stir in sriracha if desired.
  3. Shred the crab stick by hand or with a fork.
  4. Combine in a large bowl the shredded crab, julienned cucumber, and carrot.
  5. Toss with the desired amount of dressing until everything is coated.
  6. Serve immediately or chill before serving.

Notes

Add chopped celery or bell peppers for extra texture. Adjust the amount of mayonnaise based on your creaminess preference.
