Description

A rich and comforting seafood dish made with lump crab meat, mayonnaise, and spices, perfect for entertaining or a cozy night in.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb lump crab meat
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/4 cup chopped red bell pepper
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Paprika for sprinkling


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, and salt and pepper in a large bowl.
  3. Gently fold in the crab meat, breadcrumbs, green onions, and red bell pepper.
  4. Spoon the mixture into a greased baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle paprika on top for color.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until heated through and lightly browned.
  7. Serve warm.

Notes

Use fresh lump crab meat for the best flavor. Don’t overmix to preserve the crab lumps. Can enhance with lemon juice or fresh herbs.
