Description

A comforting crab casserole with creamy textures and bright flavors, perfect for weeknight dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb imitation crab meat, chopped or shredded
  • 3 green onions, chopped (include both white and green parts)
  • ⅓ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon mustard powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese (for topping)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, and sour cream in a large bowl.
  3. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  4. Stir in the garlic powder, mustard powder, and salt.
  5. Fold in the chopped imitation crab, green onions, and Swiss cheese.
  6. Transfer the mixture into a greased 8×8-inch baking dish.
  7. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until hot and bubbly.
  9. Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For a cheesier casserole, add more cheese on top before baking. Allow the casserole to rest after baking for better presentation.
