Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 ounces linguine or spaghetti
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 lemon, juice and zest
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes (if using); sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add the shrimp, cooking until they turn pink (about 3-4 minutes).
  5. Stir in the lemon juice and zest, then season with salt and pepper.
  6. Toss the cooked pasta in the skillet with the shrimp and sauce, mixing well.
