Description

A refreshing shrimp salad with crisp vegetables and a creamy dressing, perfect for gatherings or family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup celery, diced
  • 1/4 cup red onion, diced
  • 1/4 cup bell pepper, diced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lettuce leaves for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add the shrimp. Cook for about 2-3 minutes until the shrimp are pink and opaque. Drain and let cool.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add the cooled shrimp, celery, red onion, and bell pepper to the bowl, stirring until well combined.
  4. Serve over lettuce leaves or in a sandwich.

Notes

Let the salad sit for at least 15 minutes before serving to allow flavors to blend. Store leftovers in an airtight container and consume within 1-2 days for best freshness.
