Ingredients
- 2 bananas (Ripe)
- 2 tablespoon (30 ml) s of brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) of ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Choose bananas that are ripe but still firm.
- Remove the peel and slice the banana into rings or halves if you prefer. You can leave the peel on and slice them lengthwise if that’s your preference. Alternatively, slice them vertically into halves and then cut thin horizontal pieces.
- Place the banana slices into a mixing bowl. Sprinkle the brown sugar and ground cinnamon over them.
- Toss the banana pieces thoroughly to ensure they are evenly covered with the cinnamon and sugar mixture.
- Take out the air fryer basket, and arrange the coated banana slices gently inside.
- Adjust the air fryer to 350°F and let the bananas cook for approximately 5 minutes, adjusting time based on their ripeness.
- After 3 minutes, carefully turn each slice over with silicone tongs.
- Once they are cooked, remove the slices from the air fryer and place them on a serving plate.
- Enjoy them alongside a scoop of vanilla ice cream, mixed with granola bowls, or added to jelly sandwiches or bagels.

- For a caramelized finish, sprinkle extra brown sugar on banana slices before air frying.
