Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb wild-caught shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 cups finely shredded green cabbage
  • ½ cup Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Fresh cilantro, chopped
  • Tortillas (corn or flour)
  • Slices of avocado
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • Zest of 1 lime
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional)


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix salt, pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, chili powder, olive oil, lime zest, lime juice, honey, and chopped cilantro to create a marinade.
  2. Add the shrimp to the marinade and let it sit for 10 minutes to absorb the flavors.
  3. In another bowl, combine shredded cabbage with Greek yogurt, lime juice, and additional chopped cilantro for the creamy slaw.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the marinated shrimp for about 2-3 minutes per side until they are pink and opaque.
