Description

Quick and flavorful baked cod with a zesty chili lime marinade, perfect for busy nights.


Ingredients

  • 4 cod fillets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Zest and juice from 2 limes
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Mix olive oil, lime juice, lime zest, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
  3. Place the cod fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Brush the chili lime mixture over the cod fillets.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.

Notes

Marinate the cod for at least 15 minutes for better flavor infusion.
