Description

A delicious chicken wing boil featuring seasoned wings, corn, potatoes, and sausage, perfect for gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 4 lb chicken wings
  • 1/2 cup crab/seafood boil seasoning
  • 1/3 cup lemon pepper seasoning
  • 3 cups vegetable oil
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tbsp onion powder
  • 2 tbsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp paprika
  • 1/2 cup corn starch
  • 6 corn on the cob
  • 1 lb sausage
  • 1 lb red potatoes
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 2 sticks of butter
  • 3 tbsp minced garlic
  • 2 tbsp chili powder
  • 5-6 dashes of hot sauce

Instructions

  1. Fill a large pot halfway with water and bring it to a boil. Add the 1/2 stick of butter, crab/seafood boil seasoning, and lemon pepper seasoning.
  2. Cut the sausage into bite-sized pieces and add to the pot along with corn and red potatoes.
  3. Cook for about 18-20 minutes, or until the potatoes are soft.
  4. Meanwhile, cut the chicken wings into flats and drumsticks. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and Cajun seasoning before coating with corn starch.
  5. Heat vegetable oil in a separate pot to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and fry the wings in batches for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Once cooked, place the wings on a baking rack to drain excess oil.
  7. After removing the corn, sausage, and potatoes from the pot, arrange everything on a sheet pan.
  8. Melt the 2 sticks of butter in a pot, then stir in minced garlic, paprika, crab/seafood boil seasoning, lemon pepper seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, and hot sauce.
  9. Pour the sauce over the chicken wings, sausage, corn, and potatoes on the sheet pan.
  10. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

Consider adding garlic cloves and lemon slices to the broth for additional flavor.
