Description

Crispy and flavorful cheesy taquitos filled with crab and shrimp, perfect for any meal or snack.


Ingredients

  • 10 small corn tortillas
  • 1 cup cooked crab meat
  • 1 cup cooked shrimp, chopped
  • 1 cup queso cheese (or cream cheese)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying


Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine crab meat, shrimp, queso cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Heat tortillas in a pan or microwave until pliable.
  3. Spoon the filling onto each tortilla and roll tightly.
  4. Heat oil in a deep skillet over medium heat.
  5. Fry the taquitos in batches until golden and crispy, about 2–3 minutes per side.
  6. Drain on paper towels and serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

For extra crispy taquitos, consider double-dipping in the oil after the first fry. Serve with salsa or guacamole for added flavor.
