Crispy and flavorful cheesy taquitos filled with crab and shrimp, perfect for any meal or snack.
Ingredients
- 10 small corn tortillas
- 1 cup cooked crab meat
- 1 cup cooked shrimp, chopped
- 1 cup queso cheese (or cream cheese)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine crab meat, shrimp, queso cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Heat tortillas in a pan or microwave until pliable.
- Spoon the filling onto each tortilla and roll tightly.
- Heat oil in a deep skillet over medium heat.
- Fry the taquitos in batches until golden and crispy, about 2–3 minutes per side.
- Drain on paper towels and serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
For extra crispy taquitos, consider double-dipping in the oil after the first fry. Serve with salsa or guacamole for added flavor.
