Description

A comforting seafood dish featuring shrimp, scallops, or crab, topped with fluffy Cheddar Bay biscuits, perfect for family gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked seafood (shrimp, scallops, crab mix as desired)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 package Cheddar Bay Biscuit mix
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked seafood, heavy cream, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir until well blended.
  3. Pour the seafood mixture into a greased baking dish, spreading it evenly across the bottom.
  4. Prepare the Cheddar Bay Biscuit mix according to package instructions by mixing it with water until it forms a dough.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of biscuit dough over the seafood mixture, leaving gaps for the filling to peek through.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown.
  7. Brush the top with melted butter before serving and garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

For added flavor, consider using fresh herbs like dill or thyme and customize the biscuit topping with spices like cayenne pepper.
