A delightful twist on traditional California rolls, using fresh cucumbers instead of rice for a lighter, crunchy sushi-inspired dish.
Ingredients
- Fresh cucumbers
- Crab (or imitation crab)
- Ripe avocado
- Soy sauce (for dipping)
- Sesame seeds (to sprinkle)
Instructions
- Cut the cucumber into thin slices lengthwise to form sheets.
- Place a slice of crab on one end of the cucumber sheet.
- Add a few slices of avocado on top of the crab.
- Roll the cucumber sheet tightly around the fillings.
- Repeat until all ingredients are used.
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve with soy sauce.
Notes
For extra flavor, sprinkle a bit of salt on the cucumber sheets before rolling. If cucumbers are too watery, pat them dry with a paper towel.
