Description

A delightful twist on traditional California rolls, using fresh cucumbers instead of rice for a lighter, crunchy sushi-inspired dish.


Ingredients

  • Fresh cucumbers
  • Crab (or imitation crab)
  • Ripe avocado
  • Soy sauce (for dipping)
  • Sesame seeds (to sprinkle)


Instructions

  1. Cut the cucumber into thin slices lengthwise to form sheets.
  2. Place a slice of crab on one end of the cucumber sheet.
  3. Add a few slices of avocado on top of the crab.
  4. Roll the cucumber sheet tightly around the fillings.
  5. Repeat until all ingredients are used.
  6. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve with soy sauce.

Notes

For extra flavor, sprinkle a bit of salt on the cucumber sheets before rolling. If cucumbers are too watery, pat them dry with a paper towel.
