Ingredients
- 8 oz penne pasta
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Parsley, chopped for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the shrimp and sprinkle with Cajun seasoning. Cook until the shrimp are pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and mix until the sauce is smooth and slightly thickened.
- Toss the cooked penne pasta into the skillet, mixing well to coat.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
