Ingredients
- 1 pound of sea scallops
- 1 tablespoon of Cajun seasoning
- 1 teaspoon of paprika
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 cup of heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Season the sea scallops with Cajun seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Add the scallops to the skillet and sear for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden and cooked through.
- Remove scallops and set aside.
- Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 30 seconds.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer, stirring continuously.
- Adjust seasoning if necessary.
- Return the scallops to the skillet, coating them in the sauce.
- Serve immediately and enjoy.
Notes
Pat scallops dry before seasoning for a better sear. Allow the skillet to heat fully before adding scallops. Adjust seasoning in the cream sauce to your liking.
