Description

A delightful dish featuring Cajun blackened salmon topped with a rich Tuscan cream sauce, perfect for a comforting meal at home.

Ingredients

  • 4 skinless salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Pat the salmon fillets dry and season both sides generously with Cajun seasoning.
  2. Heat olive oil and butter in a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat until the mixture shimmers.
  3. Place the seasoned salmon fillets in the skillet, skin side down, and cook for 4-5 minutes.
  4. Carefully flip the fillets and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until cooked through.
  5. Remove the salmon from the skillet and set it aside on a warm plate.
  6. Lower the heat and add minced garlic to the skillet, sauté for one minute until fragrant.
  7. Pour in the heavy cream, stirring continuously until the sauce thickens slightly, then remove from heat.
  8. Stir in chopped parsley and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  9. Serve the salmon with the creamy sauce drizzled on top.

Notes

For added depth, consider adding a splash of lemon juice to the sauce before serving.
