- – 1/2 cup (120 ml) brown sugar
- – 8 cloves garlic (minced)
- – 2 tablespoons (30 ml) sriracha sauce
- – 1/4 cup (60 ml) soy sauce
- – 1/4 cup (60 ml) beef broth
- – 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) pepper (or to taste)
Instructions
- Set your oven to 425°F and get the chicken ready by taking it out of the packaging and drying it with paper towels.
- In a saucepan, mix together the sauce components and whisk over medium heat until the sugar fully dissolves. Pour half of this mixture into a large baking dish, place the chicken thighs inside, and then cover them with the remaining sauce.
- Place the baking dish in the oven and cook without covering for 35 to 40 minutes, making sure to baste with the sauce every 10 minutes.
- Add a sprinkle of chopped parsley or cilantro on top if desired, and serve.
Notes
- Consider adding extra minced garlic to the sauce for a bolder garlic flavor.
- Adjust spiciness by increasing or decreasing sriracha in the sauce.
- Enhance umami by marinating chicken in the sauce before baking.
